Expect to be pleasantly surprised on the day of your scan. When you arrive at Accuscan you will check in, complete a new patient form, and asked to drink a bottle of water. Wear comfortable clothing, without zippers, snaps or wires (ladies are advised to wear sports bras), and relax in a soothing, non-threatening atmosphere. When the doctor is ready you will be ushered back to the scanning room and asked to lie face up on a table. A tech will guide you through holding your breath as you pass through the open ring of the scanner. Our procedure is non-invasive, painless and efficient.

Soon after completing the scan, results will be read and interpreted and you will be invited in to share with the provider, a virtual tour of your internal organs and systems. Any questions you have will be answered at this time. You will be advised of any irregularities, and counseled with regard to further treatment or lifestyle adjustments. In a couple of days you will receive by mail a CDROM of your images and a detailed written report of all the findings.
